The HH is toast so I'll try to recreate this.

Party 30+3 R+A
payout to 50 118 left

Reads - A few hands ago villain called my 3x ep raise in the big blind with A6 and checkraise pushed 2pair.

blinds 300/600
Hero in utg+1 w/ Ah Kd

Hero (t9600)
Villain (t11500)

Hero raises to 1800
folds to villain who calls 1200 more from the BB

flop 10d 7d 2d pot=3900
Villain checks
Hero bets 2300
Villain calls 2300
turn 3c pot=8500
Villain checks
Hero...

bigger flop bet? push turn? take free card?
thanks

I would check behind on the turn, but you could also push.

Your hand is pretty strong on the flop. I would push or make an overbet with the idea of putting the rest in on the turn.

Your preflop play was standard, but if a raise was likely, I might play for a limpraise allin.

I wanted to push the flop but I had too many chips, I think a much bigger flop bet was in order though.

You can still push even though it's an overbet. Either that or make an overbet that essentially commits you, but looks less like a semibluff with a flush draw. I wouldn't make a pot sized bet, as that might put you in a difficult situation on the turn. The bet you made was OK.
