The standard of play is unreal in the early stages.

I'm upto 6.5k after I raise with TT in middle possition,BB calls flop is 445 and I bet the pot,BB calls.turn is a 5 and I bet 500 into a 500 pot and the BB mini raises me so I call.River is a another 5 and the BB goes all in,I already had him pegged as an idiot and quickly called and he showed AJ !!!!

I'm in like Flynn, Baby! table 186. I've cracked AA with JJ (not by fishy play, mind you) and I've also had some clown bet AI into my AA on a A64 board. He had AT. Sadly, if I had raised a little less PF, I would have had another clown trip 6s and pay me off. But what can I say, I am an agro-fcuk. up to 6K.

8915 at table 71

Kings twice in the sb raise it to 180 after 3 limpers in the first level and 210 after 6 limpers in the second level (BB=20 then 30). Get aces in the sb after 5 limpers (avg stack around 1700) and raise 6 BB (600 total). All 3 folded around. Last hand (97 suited) in the sb, I complete after button limps (2000) and BB (3000) checks. Flop comes 965 with one club. Check, bet 100,call,call, turn is a 9 (rainbow)- check bet 200, call 200, now I go allin and feel like a moron when both people fold. Checkraise to 600??, Lead river for half pot?? (all are much better options)

Thx in advance

Went from 10k to 3500 on this hand:

200/400/25
Folded to me in SB with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. I raise to 1200 and the BB calls.

Pot: 2625

Flop: 8/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif

I bet 1500. BB pushes remaining 4325. I'm getting 3 to 1 and call.

He has 3/images/graemlins/club.gif 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif and his hand holds up.

I think my only mistake is I probably should have just pushed the flop but I'm not sure he folds anyway. I was getting good enough odds and also thought it was possible he was on a bluff with two overcards.

I busted in 1084 by TheRick, who was chip leader last I checked.

He had ~30K, I had about ~7K. Folded to him. He raised to 1000 (Blinds 200/400), I came over the top all-in from the CO (one seat behind him) with AQo. He called with 77, caught a set, and I missed my diamond on the river to get a flush.

Anyone dislike this play I made?

Why? Because of the large number of players?

I'm sure it's the strucuture with a mix of venting.

Out in 200th for $476. not bad tho for paying $15 in a $3 rebuy event to play. Still disappointed tho...Raised 4xBB w/ KK's, get reraised all in by the big stack, I call, he has AA's...no help. GL to all still in.

Why is it nearly always the guy who doesn't want a deal that busts out next?

using the old chip counts

DrunkIrish05

river had more when they first tried to make a deal, but then lee had the numbers wrong and did not realize it until 3 hands after the deal was made, and in those 3 hands river lost his chip lead. SO, when the deal was seen being made at the end, it was based on chip stacks from 3 hands earlier.

Any comments on the structure from those who played? Apparently with around 100 people left, the chip leader had a whopping 20 BBs?

Humm... has Lee gone too far?

I liked the 2500 starting chips, but the blind levels need to be increased from 15 to 20 minutes IMO. Then start the tournament 1-2 hours earlier so we can still finish at a decent hour.

What do you think when a 3400 player tournament finishes in 7 hours. Quite ridiculous.
