The point of this thread is to laugh when someone macho admits that his wife named their cat Fluffy.

EDIT: Also post if you know someone who named their pet after a different animal. A dog named "cat", etc.

She thanks you. When we bought our house she was living in the bushes next door, and in short order had moved in. After two years on the street, you can now stand next to an open door with her and she looks at you like "Have you seen the coyotes out there? Screw that."

Lets see... I let my sister name my golden retriever, her name is Bella Blue. Then my room mate and i got two belgian malinois sisters, and named them Paris and Nikki. My husky puppy that i got a week and a half ago is named Trouble. nothing to original, but the names fit them well.
