Just returned from 9 days in Aruba (7/28 - 8/6). Gathered some info for the forum. Feel free to add any other stuff you may have observed/experienced if you've been there.

Three main poker rooms, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Wyndham. I believe there is a fourth, but I did not see it. With the exception of a 3:00 pm tourney at the Radisson on Sundays, none of these rooms opened before 6. My experience showed they generally started tourneys around 7, and cash games afterwards.

Holiday Inn (9 tables, least professional in appearance):
Two NLHE tourneys every night. One with small buy in, rebuys and add ons, one with large buy in, no rebuys or add ons.
Registration between 6 and 7:30pm.
Large buy in tourney - $550 (didn't play, no more info)
Small buy in tourney - $25 ($10 on Friday) got you 600 chips. Blinds start @ 25/50. Unlimited rebuys for the 1st 4 levels, $25 for 1000 chips ($35 on Friday). One add on at end of 4th level, $30 for 2000 chips ($40 on Friday).

Both the small & large tourney had 2 full tables. As players busted from the large tourney, they bought into small tourney. Unbelievably loose 'lottery' poker. Frequently witnessed preflop all ins from, and called by, hands as bad as 74s and J7o.

Post Tourney: 2 tables of LHE, 4/8 and 10/20. One night saw 5/10 NL.
No $2 chips, so 4/8 game slowed due to dealer making change.
Chips need a good run through the wash....

Wyndham (6 tables, rather elegant feel)
NLHE Tourneys Mon, Wed, Thur
$10 got you 600 chips. Blinds start @ 25/50. Unlimited rebuys for the 1st 4 levels, $25 for 1000 chips). One add on at end of 4th level, $25 for 2000 chips.
Did not play here, no additional info.

Radisson (9 tables, very professional look and feel):
Only advertised 2 NLHE tourneys. Heard there were more, but can't confirm.
1) Saturday, 5:30pm
$10 for 600 chips. Blinds start @ 25/50. Unlimited rebuys for the 1st 4 levels, $25 for 1000 chips . One add on at end of 4th level, $25 for 2000 chips.

2)Sunday, 3:30pm
$60 buy in. Unlimited rebuys for the 1st 4 levels, one add on at end of 4th level. Not sure of the cost.
Nice twist - House adds up to $1000 to the total prize pool, unless/until pool reaches $4000+. Pool of $3200, house adds $800. Pool of $2800, house adds $1000...

Post Tourney: 2 tables of LHE, 4/8 and 15/30. Board showed decent interested in 5/10 NL, but never materialized.

Radisson also offered Poker 101 classes every Tuesday & Thursday, followed by a game agaist other classmates ($30 for $50 in chips). Seems like a quick way to make easy money....

Additional notes:
LHE tables: Holiday Inn and Radisson allowed flop bet to be either 1SB or 1BB, Wyndham only 1SB.
Also, did not have to post when entering game. You can sit and immediately play (even from button).

Tip: If you'll be playing in a rebuy tourney, try watching until round 4, then buy in & immediately rebuy, survive a few hands, then add on. Save yourself some of the headaches of continuous rebuys due to rediculous callers.
Just a thought....

And if you go, try one meal at Texas de Brazil (across from PLaya Linda). Fantastic!!!
