I've been getting hands like this ever since I found the current magic seat /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

I also got quad 7s in this same game after flopping a full house. I came in first in this game. I won 5 of the last 6 games in seat 6.

I think his range is a lot wider than that. The big stack has almost 3x as many chips. With a range of Any Ace, any pair, KQ, KJs+, Q3o is only 31.2%. The range might even be looser than that since he is the shortstack and they are looking to take him out. JTo is 39.9% against that range, which just goes to show how bad Q3o is. If I had less chips (like 3bb), and knew that I would get atleast 1 caller, Q3 would be better since I knew that I would be able to high card the caller. WIth 6bb, I doubt you are ever going to get a call that you are ahead of.

the game had going on for quite a while. The table was moderatly tight. I had a decent read on the players since we'd been playing so long. For the most part everyone was either collecting blinds that were folded to them or easily stealing blinds.

I had to adjust the cards to green, no brainer there. Of course my hat faces west now to compinsate for the green deck but seat 6 is still rocking.

Since I know that most of you have no poker superstitions

Heh, I remember the other day at a $22 being on the bubble and the other three seemed to hate me, no idea why, anyway with 5BB left I pushed from UTG with 59o as my FE was about to disappear in smoke, got called by the BB with AKo, spiked a 5, went on to win, and funnily enough they shut up then.

Agreed! I've never said to someone "you suck" or "you're not gonna make the money". When they say it to me it helps my steely determination /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Instead of minraising a bunch of hands, start shoving.

77 with all-in money = shove.
99 with people behind you having 10x BB = shove.

Basically, you need to shove most hands when either you or biggest active opponent left has 10x BB.
