Sponger resembles a younger Hans Moleman. And when I say younger, I mean like 50.

Are vaginofags really interested in poon?

I feel like jake here, but I have no idea who Jack Johnson is.

I feel like there's a committee, that CallMeIsh may or may not head, that exists to make up bands with eleborate 5 year backstores just to make me feel clueless.

Hah! I know who he is. He's some guy that makes kind of pleasant songs that all sound the same.

I've liked JJ for a long time and he's definitely one of the best singer/songwriters you'll find today. You'll run into a lot of haters here who need to make themselves feel cool by talking [censored] about anything popular among the kids who used to give them swirlies in High School, but ignore them. Jack Johnson puts on a great show, I'm seeing him when he comes to MD in September and I can't wait.

EDIT: Just to clarify, he's one of the best singer/songwriters due mainly to a lack of good singer/songwriters, than any incredible talent on his part.

instead of spending so much time trying to figure out why people hate JJ, you should concentrate on why your music tastes suck so bad. JJ is a [censored] hair less worse then dave mathews, and dave mathews is the suckiest suck that ever did suck.

it's a well known fact that the masses celebrate mediocrity and JJ is no exception. it has nothing to do with hating JJ, it's the fact that people love crappy mediocre acts like this that get people riled up.

it's even more hilarious that you're in great anticipation to see him in concert.

you should eat at applebees before you go to the concert.

it's even funnier that you care what other people think of your music tastes.

I was at the concert. Was at the beer garden from like 630-right before Jack went on stage. I was entirely too drunk as well. The girl I spent my time with in the beer garden passed out for the entire concert. hahahaha. I might have missed some of Jack's first songs because I was over on the fence of the beer garden near the exit trying to get her off the ground and help her up and walk past security, I had to call a friend and we both walked her through.

Great concert. Tons of fun with 11 of my closest friends. I almost made a post about the concert yesterday, wondering if anyone was going to be there. Oops.

Btw jakey, at the concert we're standing around in the beer garden and one of my friends says to me "hey whats with those guys in the shoes" and we see a group of about 5 guys all in shoes surrounded by a sea of people in flip flops. No word yet if anyone tripped on the grass while being mugged at the concert.

The songs sound mostly the same, but I think that is true of a lot of soft music. Surfer/relaxed type of music, not emo queer stuff. I have no idea how people even got that idea. His songs aren't even about love and girls more than any other band.

In Southern California there are several oil rigs off the coast which are very unpopular and are alluded to in this song.

There really isn't a better "pop" songwriter than Jack Johnson.

And the people who make snide remarks about others' musical taste deserve to have this girl (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=3057112&page=0&view=colla psed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1) [censored] on their face.
