his new greatest hits is my favorite. but if i had to choose i am going with deja vu--crosby, stills, nash & young.

I think there are four on that list that are incredible, and Harvest isn't one of them, IMO. Very good, but not top-notch.

Furthermore: Welfare mothers make better lovers.

i said this before but need to say it again, trans is a great album.

it's not his best btw, but it is great.

Out of all of his solo projects 'Harvest' gets the most airplay here in the states.

"Greatness" is a word that's open to interpretation. To some people an album's greatness might be defined by whether or not it has lasted the test of time. Airplay would definitely be an indicator of that (as would current record sales).

pure brutal honesty - written right after and as a response to Kurt Cobain's suicide (how would you feel if some pop star killed himself and partially justified quoting your lyrics "as Neil Young says, it's better to burn out then fade away"
