I’m looking for a laptop to play SNG's on and would like to be able to fit 4 tables without overlap. Anyone know of any good laptops that have the 1600x1200 resolution under $2500? Thanks allot for you help.

I just got a Dell Inspiron 9300 and it is the balls. Mine came to ~$2200 nicely loaded.

Personally I think Dell laptops are awful, and I think most Dell owners would tend to agree with me on that. I bought a Compaq with a 1920x1200 screen so I can 6-table comfortably on it. It was decked out (about a year ago) for ~$1500. Dells are much more expensive, and have a lot more problems arise from what I've seen (if it means anything I'm a computer nerd and comp. sci. major). The only problem I've had with mine is the AC adapter is a little loose now, but they're willing to repair it for free (and it'll only be gone 4 business days!).

I'm typing this on my Dell 6000 (with 1920x1200 WUXGA) right now. An important thing to note is that the price gets that low usually when they do one of their insane 50% off all laptops over $1,500 deal. You really do get a great deal.

The 9300 has the bigger screen (17" vs. 15.4"), but it's also a bit bigger. Personal preference I guess. Run a search of the Internet forum, as this comes up a bit down there and someone usually posts a link to the latest deals. Good luck.

Recently Dell has developed a pretty bad reputation for laptops. I had one recently for work and it was loud and would overheat if anything was near the air intake which was stupidly on the bottom.

if you've got $ to burn, Alienware's seem very well built.
