Dogmeat's Contest - two weeks left

For the 100 or so posters who made a guess where my tiny bankroll (of $122) on a single site might be after 30 days, I'm halfway done.

For the dozen or so that guessed I'd be at zero, it's pretty much over for you. I played about 10 hours, and got in two small tournaments. The first tournament I busted in, the second paid $250 for 17th place.

Top two finishes so far: 101 and 17

For the two or three dozen that guessed my bankroll would be under $1000 - it's almost over for you too.

Currently the bankroll is $1246.

Nobody is really out yet - but this leaves about 45 of you (who guessed $1000 or higher)in pretty good shape.

Although I'm playing mostly elsewhere, this has actually been fun for me. It's just like starting new to playing poker with a tiny bankroll, but without the stress of worrying about busting.

Good luck to everybody this week, and good luck to those of you that have the best shot at 1st or 2nd in this contest and a share of my tournament winnings in four tourny's after the final two weeks.

For those that entered their guess in the original thread two weeks ago, there is a prize for the closest guess and second closest guess.

First prize: 20% of my final bankroll goes into two tournaments, and the winner gets 20% of any payoff

Second prize: 10% of my final bankroll goes into two tournaments, and the winner gets 20% of any payoff

I'll list the final bankroll in two weeks (actually on Sunday) and then post when the tournaments are being played so the winners can sweat me if they want to.

Sure. I have no problem offering the two prize winners cash. It would be 20% of 20% for first and 10% of 20% for second.

Broken down, that would be 4% of my gross bankroll at the site for first and 2% for second, which currently is about $60 and $30.
