It was pretty shitty. I'm sitting on our couch drinking one vodka and 7-up after another watching American Splendor. Which remines me of Bukowski only this guy is a hack writing comic books, doesnt drink, and isnt cool.
Eventually my friend has to go to work closing this theatre he manages at and I decide to go, just to get this loser guy to leave our house. I have my friend drive cause Im kind of drunk. We get there and his bitch girlfriend starts giving me [censored]. She lives with us and every [censored] day I give her rides to and from work, she doesnt apreciate them, and she is a bitch. So I tell her so, and that from now on she is never getting any rides again in my car ever.
She tells me she will just call her mom. So I tell her she can call her mom 3 times a day and Im leaving. There is a sentiment of oh this [censored] is going to drive drunk that I can feel but [censored] it, I gotta do it. I walk out and sit in my car with my hands on the steering wheel. I dont really want to drive but I cant go back. I dont remember how I turn around the highway, if I do an illegal U or use a backroad or what.
But eventually I seem to be coming upon my house, I turn into our driveway but it seems different. The bushes seem different. I go in farther and it splits into 2-sides, our driveway doesnt do that. There is a big truck we dont have. [censored], Im in the wrong driveway. I think I passed our house. I must be drunk.
Backing up into the highway I hope no sherrifs are watching me. It must look bad. I go back into the highway and have to turn around, I take a left into some side street, then a right into a driveway to turn around, have some difficulty maneurvering around their cars and stuff but eventually I make it. Then I take a right onto the highway.
Wait a minute. This doesnt look like the highway. Why are all these houses here. Where is the gas station. Godamnit I just turned onto some residential street. Man I must be waisted. I u-turn and go back to the stop sign to enter the highway. Ok, keep it together, no one was watching me. Just pull out real easy and drive to our house, pull in, I'm fine.
Some assholes drive by while Im in the turn lane but I get to our house smoothly. Now I just have to wait for these assholes to somehow get home so my roomates girlfriend can be a bitch about me leaving them and telling her whatever, I cant remember.
I get into a 6-max .50/1 game on party cause I know Im drunk and dont want to [censored] up. I lose around 8, due to just cold cards and drawouts. Im talking [censored] the whole time about how they couldnt stand 5/10, im the best player around, etc.
Some guy challenges me to play headsup. I dont want to back down so I tell hi to bring it. He asks me what limit and I suggest 10/20. Im drunk, dont normaly play 10/20, and havent been paying attention to this guy. This isnt exactly your typical plus ev spot. But here he is, playing 3/6 late Friday night, Im sure Im better than him, even if I have no experience playing headsup.
He folds the first hand to me. Part of me just wants to take his 10 dollars, call him a sucker, and leave. But this isnt about money, this is about pride. I am the best player at the table, I am better than him. I fold back a 3/6 and we are even again. He raises and I call with a K8, the flop is Qxx with a flush draw I have no part of, he bets out and I fold.
I raise A5 and he calls. Flop gives me the A high flush draw, I bet and he raises. I have a good feeling about this hand, I call. I hit that flush, check it and raise his bet. He unfortunately folds. I decide I've had enough, sit out and start calling him a sucker and stuff. Im 70 up on him, perhaps I missed a hand or two, but I'm 70 up and feel I've outplayed him.
I've proven I'm better, I've taken his money, now I'm ready to try to download porn to dvd. Oh what a life.
