Fold or push?

What do you think of the call on the flop? I thought it was reasonable to take a card off considering my great position relative to the flop bettor. Didn't want to raise with such a scary board and so many callers without seeing how the hand would develop on the turn, but the pot odds looked too sweet to fold right away.

Should probably strongly consider re-raising preflop, eh?

personally, i'd raise PF (uhoh, the dreaded hooks debate). with 2 limpers in already - you making the 3rd, you can just about ensure yourself of one messy family pot to the flop.

honestly? HONESTLY? i might just fold the flop /images/graemlins/blush.gif - eh, i guess not, but what the heck can you do with this sucker?! you have a 1/2pot leader and two cold-calls. this pot is almost getting TOO juicy for you to make a move on the flop (short of a push).

that being said...SB is STILL only leading out 1/2 pot. sure smells like a TPw/draw type of hand, but whooooo knows.
i could live with myself if i pushed here.

(and i'd do something about helping create a 6-way next time)

ps. raising to t250 might be your stand on the flop. whether you fold to a pushed reraise? good question.

edit: just another thought about the PF raise. by raising, you're NOT really building a larger pot (downside for some). by removing button & the blinds, you'll have position, and a pot close to the size of 6 limpers.

I think the flop call is fine. When he leads out into all those callers again on the turn you are usually in trouble.

I'd drop it.

As for preflop ... I never know how to play Jacks early after a minraise. I was seriously considering asking the forum what they do in those spots after feeling a bit lost in a hand earlier today (I raised and layed down to a reraise)

i'd fold, but i wouldn't be in this situation as I would have raised pre-flop

Also I want to add that this is exactly the sort of board that would hit a PF blind miniraise caller with 2 pair or better.

God I [censored] hate jacks as well.

I try to play it for overpair/set value, but I either fold to someone's 10 10 or push to someone's KK on a low flop /images/graemlins/frown.gif

6 people saw a coordinated flop and 3 of them liked it well enough. I don't think overpair is good enough. Either someone has you beat or has a lotta outs.

If maybe 3 people had seen the flop, I would like the spot a lot better.

I'm one of those weak tight "limp JJ UTG" people and I still reraise pf.

I'd reraise preflop first of all. I'd also push this flop with three callers. So many chips in there to snag! I MAY fold the turn here the way the hand has played but I would probably push anyways even feeling like folding was an option.
