5 handed pick up a9s utg+1. 5/10 blinds.

UTG folds, i raise to 40, folded to BB who calls. The BB will see a lot of flops and call raises with suited connector type hands. Flop is A25 rainbow. BB bets 50 , i call planning on raising the turn. The turn is a J(still no flush draw), BB checks i bet 150 he calls. The river is a K and he checks. Now im thinkng i should check here, fearing he might come over the top big. But sadly i bet 300 and he raised all in for 550 more. What do u do and wud u have bet the river?

I bet river, but smaller. This is pretty read dependent, but given your bet size, I can't imagine he's bluffing, and you are only beating a pure bluff, so I fold.

I don't bet the river, your kicker is too weak for me. But if I do bet it (20% of the time I will) then I fold to the ck raise.

why bet the turn?

do people in this game call a preflop raise and then lead in to an A25 rainbow flop with something less than A9?

this guy will often bet out on flops like this with either draws or just as a bluff. btw, i did fold the river and he showed 34 hearts.
