How many players do you need to limp in for you to call any 2 cards that you may have? There have been times in AC that 8 or 9 players will all see the flop for 1 bet. I don't like playing trash, so I usually fold unless everyone has limped in. But would it be profitable to limp in if 4 or 5 limped in before I acted?

There is no number of players that will make it correct to call with J4o.

I only limp-in with an ace-rag or connectors (suited or not).

If you are playing full ring and 5 players limp in ahead of you, I'd be calling with Ax suited, any suited connectors 45 and above, one gap suited connecters, and even the occasional 79os. Obviously offsuit hands with no straight potential aren't worth it. You're only winning if u flop trips or better.

I hope Ace-rag suited...

What if you were the small blind? Perhaps then it becomes profitable to complete with any two cards with enough limpers. If not with a SB 1/2 the BB, then maybe when it's 2/3 the BB?

I rarely know for certain when it's worth a call or not in the SB, so it would be nice to know just how marginal a hand is worth it.
