Signed up for PlanetLuck and Starluck clicking on an affiliate link with bonusbonus.net. I submitted my signup information on their page to claim the $30 (each) signup bonuses they offered.

I received the following email shortly after:

-------------------
Hello,
We'd like to thank you for using BonusBonus.net. We have received your claim for Planetluck and/or Starluck, however, we are having difficulty verifying signups and deposits with these casinos. We are persuing this issue vigorously, and expect to resolve it within a week or so. We'll keep you up to date and will let you know as soon as possible when we get things figured out. Please note that this issue only affects new signups with Starluck and Planetluck. If you have made an earlier claim and received confirmation from us, that will be honored. Also, if you have made a claim for any of our other casinos, that will be processed normally.

Thank you,
Ben

Well that sucks I thought, but at least they are "persuing this issue vigorously". I wait for an update. I get it:

-------------------
Hello,
We’d like to clarify the email that went out last week. Until recently, we had been verifying signups with casinos by matching the date of the claims to the number of players the casino told us had signed up. In the last week of July, we received far more claims than we had players. We’ve implemented a new system whereby we check directly with the casinos about whether players have signed up with us.

You submitted a bonus claim for Starluck with the user name XXXXXXXX, and Planetluck with the user name YYYYYYYYY. The casino tells us that that user name is not associated with our tracking code. There are several reasons why this might be:

-Is your username spelled and capitalized correctly?
-Did you sign up for Planetluck and submit a claim for Starluck, or vice versa?
-Did you use the most recent version of Internet Explorer?
-Did you clear your browser’s cookies before clicking on our link to the casinos?
-Did you fulfill the deposit and wager requirements for the bonus?

If you misspelled your username, please respond to this email with the correct username.

WE WANT TO PAY OUT BONUSES! We have no interest in scamming you and ruining our reputation. We’re honestly confused as to why we have so many more claims than registered players. If you are absolutely certain none of the problems above might be true, please contact affiliates@iglobalmedia.com (Starluck and Planetluck’s parent company) to ask which affiliate you signed up through. That way you can check our honesty. If they tell you it was us (tracking codes Starluck 110877 and Planetluck 63248), please let us know immediately, because they have assured us that your user name is not associated with our tracking code.

We’re very sorry about any misunderstanding or disappointment this may have caused. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Well, ok, they've got my two usernames switched up at either casino. Could've been my fault or theirs. I email them the correction. Next email:

-------------------
Hello,
Earlier we sent out an email saying we could not confirm your Starluck or Planetluck bonuses. We've spoken to an iGlobalMedia affiliate representative, who told us of their policy to deny affiliate bonuses when players browse around the site before signing up. Basically, if you take a link from one part of the site to another before signing up, the affiliate doesn't get credit for you. I believe this is a new policy, because it hasn't been a problem for us before. This seems radically unfair, but they are refusing to pay us for your signups. We'll appeal, but the prospects don't look good.

To make it up to everyone, we'd like to offer an extra $30 on the next offer you do through us. If you signed up for Planetluck and Starluck, we'll give you an extra $30 on the next 2 offers.

We're very sorry about this, and we appreciate your understanding.

-------------------

Oh, I see. You couldn't get those two signups right but if I sign up for two more you'll pay me what you were supposed to pay me before. Yeah, right. Sign me up!

I want to believe that what he says is actually going on and to just to let it go as I'd let go any bad beat...but also I think that if I did business with someone else and didn't get my product or payment, I'd be demanding it.

Anyway, this is crap. What to make of it?

Hmm, based on the fact that they have updated their site warning people about this, I would be inclined to believe them on this one.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. This isn't our fault, this is Starluck and Planetluck trying to get out of paying their affiliates. They have no mention of their re-direct policy on their website. Keep in mind, we don't get paid for your signups either, and we're not very happy about that.

Still, we want to fulfill our promises, and our $30/$60 offer is meant to make this up to you. We haven't had problems with any of the other casinos we feature.

On the positive side, payments for July for players who were registered with Starluck or Planetluck will be going out today or tomorrow.

I just emailed PlanetLuck, and they denied I had signed up after clicking through bonusbonus.net. They said I signed up directly through them, which is not true.

While the $30 is probably never gonna be seen, It seems like it aint the bonusbonus folks fault.

I've never done business with them before either, but they and us are getting screwed over on this one. What're you gonna do? The casino bonus money still spends well.

Starluck and Planetluck has jerked around others in the past on affiliate payments, so I'm inclined to believe this story.

Well since you post here I believe you. Sorry to be all vitriolic and whatnot. Sucks to be both of us. I'll try to keep persuing it vigorously on my end.

Here's my chat with customer care: http://www.balph.net/picture_library/planetluckconvo1.gif

I'll try to call the number Raj suggests and tell them that Raj sent me. That should help. :-/

I blocked out Ben's name because I'm not sure he'd want it posted in a forum. I'm still waiting on CoN but I'm not worried about that and from my experience people shouldn't worry about bonusbonus giving them the money promised. The bigger problem is the casinos being cheap and taking forever to get things done. Think about how long some of them take to process your cashout.

It looks like I will not be able to get the Starluck/Planetluck bonus from them neither.
They did confirm my consino-on-net sign-up though.

I am just wondering why can't you aquire a special sign-up bonus from the casino like PSO did with their affliate program. It makes thing much much easier.

That's a very good idea, and we've just implemented that. Our new code is DELETED BY MOD, for both Starluck and Planetluck. Hopefully this will solve this problem for the future.

Thanks for that /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm glad we were able to send out those payments to show people we're an honest website.

I feel guilty now about making a post with 'bonusbonus.net' juxtaposed with 'full of crap?'. Sorry Ben. I'll make a new post stating the opposite.

Maybe the rest of us should post our new codes as well.

How long does it usually take for bonusbonus to credit your account from the day you have signed up?
