Man,

What idiot posters on that site.

Someone from a different site cross-posted a post of mine from PokerPages about the KJs hand from Harrington on Holdem where Dan calls an all-in from the BB with KJs putting his oppennt on Ax, a small pair, or two lower cards.

One poster on that site - that others defended, claimed that you would need to be gettting AT LEAST 5:1 odds to make the call.

The amount of traffic on that forum is incredible, I would love to find out where they play.

You have no clue what you are talking about, read through some of the strategy pages and you will see that there are a ton of good players who offer up solid advice. Yes, there are a few morons, but it's retarded to say the whole forum is stupid.

I think it's reasonable to say that the majority of posters there are morons. Really, all one needs to do is look and see. BTW, I think a lot of them play on full tilt.

Your post makes you sound very much like a member of the FCP "army," my friend, and judging by the fact that 3/5 of your posts on 2+2 are regarding Mr. Negreanu, I'd say you're a full-fledged Negreanu-ite. 90% of anything written on FCP is utter bullshit, including the strategy section. I don't know what it is about that forum, but I get really angry whenever I troll its nonsense. I feel the need to flame these people. They're really f-cking stupid and naive.

... and 2+2 is unfortunatley on the same track. Aleast this board is.

Thank God/Sklansky for this site. It's like an oasis in a sea of stupidity.

They have strategy posts? Everything I've ever read in their forum has been something along the lines of:

web page (http://fullcontactpoker.com/poker-forums/viewtopic.php?t=23082)

or web page (http://fullcontactpoker.com/poker-forums/viewtopic.php?t=23383)

or My personal favorite (http://fullcontactpoker.com/poker-forums/viewtopic.php?t=13874)

While NO site will probably ever match the strategy elements of this site, I have to say that I know for certain that I have found interesting posts in his forums, which keeps me checking back on them frequently.

Plus, he has stated in his journal that he will be writing more content exclusively for his forums, which will invariably make them all the more interesting.

NOT 2+2, absolutely not, but still of value I believe. It's certainly FAR better than RGP.

the FCP forums are scary. Most of the advice I read there is catastrophically bad. As in, if you read it and believe it, your poker progress could be stunted for years.

OT: I have created an avatar that is an homage to your own. Do you see why?

I'll let others elaborate.

FCP is hilarious. Just one of the many gems found there:

I'll vouch for this. It is a short post about folding instead of checking in hopes of somehow inducing more action for the players left in the pot. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd just like to point out that RonBurgundy on FCP is not me. No really, it's not.

Although his avatar is kinda funny. It's a pic of a little kid at a soccer game giving the finger. My brother, who lives in Italy, clipped that same picture out of a newspaper and sent it to me about a month ago. He wrote a little note with it that said: "soccer is so popular here that kids learn all the basics at a very young age."

I can't believe this post wasn't satire that the readers misunderstood. Think Swift's "A Modest Proposal."

I thank you for this link.
