No, I wouldn't do this, you have zero FE against the button. Unless he's a total fool. I would, I think, stop-and-go here.

Ok, I see what you are saying.... b/c he already has chips in and the riase is so small, he has to call just b/c of odds. This is what you mean correct.

Thanks,

Yes. Whereas if you just call, then push any flop (as you'll be acting first), it's going to make it much harder for him, especially if it's all rags and he has AK, or KQx and he has 99, and so on. (The last one would be great for you anyway, with 14 outs)

Argh! Sorry J outs (3) T outs (3) straight outs (4 A, 2 9) making 12. Ok, change it to 88 /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I generally do not get involved in a raised pot unless I have a very strong hand, or am about to bust out.

While JTs is a good hand, I would much rather be first in with it. If you think that it will likely be folded to you next hand in the SB, I would fold here and push next hand to get your 200 back, or at least have some greater FE. Also, I hope that unless you had complete garbage that you pushed the previous hand to this one UTG with ~5 BB. At that stack size you have to gamble in level 6, so you might as well be the one pushing.

Problem is, if you fold Hero only has $735 after posting the blind, which is ~3.5BB. Your FE is all but gone, and you'll have to push when the other shorty is in the BB.

Actually, if you wait til the next hand to push, the person who is currently CO (the big stack) will be BB, the other shorty will be button. If I am reading this correctly.

Whilst I agree with the previous hand comment, I don't think you have any FE at all the next hand, the button with 3470 will be in (so 3270 after posting) needing to call 535, to win 935?
