View Full Version : When the big stacks butt heads on the bubble...

(this is a small setup to my general question below)

During some bubble play I flopped top pair, Aces, with a six kicker. It was 3 handed (small stack folded pre-flop) and I was on the button. 2nd in chips was first to act and made a min-raise, 1st in chips min re-raises. Neither have been pulling any regular steals at pots to make me believe these were just stabs at a nice pot.

After seeing the flop, I had PUSH all queued up and ready to go. After the action I folded, partly b/c of the re-raise and my 6 kicker, but mostly since the big stacks looked like they were about to get involved with each other.

My question:
Is it correct to bow out when the big stacks start butting heads when you have a marginally push-able hand?
