this is definetely one of my quickest exits ever.

guy who's already tripled up limps in EP. I check my BB w/ Q3s. Flop is QT3, one of my suit, two diamonds. I bet, he calls. Turn is a J giving me a flush draw. I bet, he goes all in for 4x the pot, I call. He has 98d (turned straight, flush draw,) and I don't improve.

No way I'm putting anybody on AA or KK here and pretty much no other strong hands the way it was played on the flop. I HATE early rounds in party because of the horrible players. And of course, I LOVE early rounds in party because of the horrible players.

Anybody not push here? Calling seems weak and making a normal raise is committing a big portion of my stack.

FOLD PREFLOP

KQo is one of the worst hands to cold-call a raise with. And if your argument is that implied odds justify the call, your stack isn't nearly deep enough (you're committing 6% preflop).

Original raiser mucks AQ and villain shows AQ and he still finds the flop to knock me out.

Cyberstack, i was watching that, and i am curious, was it right for him to move in after your reraise with AQo?

I mean i dont see you reraising the Bigstacks early position raise from middle position with a hand much worse than TT. It just doesnt seem like the right spot to make a play to me.. My range for you would be Pairs AA to maybe 99 or 88, AK to (maybe) AT, if i was ebing generous, but i dont think you'd make stand with AJ or AT either..

Am i wrong on your range? or was it a good call (read; time to gamble) for that guy because he had you covered and it was maybe close to a coin?

My range for the reraise was pretty much 1010-AA and AK.

Early position raiser had both myself and villain covered.

After my re-raise of early position raiser... villain needs to make sure he has a strong hand in order to come over the top of two opponents. In this case, coming over an early position raiser that has him covered.

IMO, this is a fold for villain with the large stack early position raiser left to act again.

Hey SeriousStudent,

Quick Question if you don't mind answering.

What did you have when I opened for 1500 from utg +2 and you cold called during 300-600 blinds?

The flop came 10 high and I check folded to your 2K bet? I figured you for some sort of pair thinking you would have reraised with AK.

I had AK.

With six players remaining, on my immediate right was the chip leader, "YankeeFanPA". He did not ever chat that I saw, and some railbirds said that he was Greg Raymer but because of his contract with PokerStars he couldn't acknowledge playing on any other site. Yeah, whatever, but he did go on to win this tourney. So I have 98K before posting the 10K big blind. It's folded around to YankeeFanPA in the small blind (with 280K) and he just completes. I check my option with 96o. Flop comes T-8-6 rainbow, he bets 10K, and I raise all-in. He calls the 78K and a 7 comes on the river making my straight. Unfortunately YankeeFanPA had J9s so he made the nut straight. (On the flop, I was a 54:46 favourite against his hand.)

Tough hit MBE... I thought you played a solid game though... When I get some time at work(currently making $8/hr), I'll post a couple HHs.

I noticed the Raymer comments as well, but I find that highly unlikely, plus the observers in the chatroom probably weren't the most reliable source.
