The sleep option isn't a bad one.

I'd vote for "C" though, normal night, and get a book on CD to listen to. No talking, and the trip goes fast.

I think I'd concoct a reason to drive on my own. Old college friend lives in the area and if you get ahold of him/her you'd like to hang out for a bit.

stay up all night playing poker and then play poker all day in the car using your wireless data plan (phone=modem). a true denerate can sleep when he's dead.

Dude is Tha' JBB and as far as I know he didn't leave the apartment to play poker last night. He could be in the car, talking to his parents about things like grandma, vegetable gardens, and prostate exams as I type this.

It all depends on

A- what you have to do after you get there, do you have to be a functional human being?

B- how well will you sleep in the car. If the answer to A is "yes", will you be able to sleep well enough to preform?

C- will your parents be annoyed for you sacking out on them? Do you care?
