I'm making soup because I am lazy.
What is your favorite soup?
Mines a toss-up between Split-pea with Ham and Sizzling Rice Soup (Chinese soup for white people).

Soup is medicine. I don't eat soup unless I'm sick.

Beef Barley or Chunky Steak and Potato. Neither are very good for me, but in the winter they hit the spot.

This is correct. The tomato soup must include saltine crackers though.

I was at Hilton Head, and had She Crab Soup. It was so good, I had it for lunch and dinner every day I was there.
I tried to make it myself, but no good.

I don't know the proper spelling/origin. My family calls it Pussadun. It's a mix of egg/breadcrumbs/parmesan cheese in chicken broth. It's Italian in origin. I think it's soup of the gods. I'd love it if one of the Italian posters could explain its history better.

French onion, tomato-basil, and tortilla all rule.
Not strictly a soup, but rather God's own repast: Texas red chili.

Forget favorite soup, favorite anything to eat - lobster bisque.
Are you thinking of Minestra di Passatelli? It is a very good soup. http://tastethistv.com/journal_romagna.html (For a weak ass, bachelor substitute, cook broken egg noodles in chicken broth, top with parmesan.)
