Hi all:

King of the off Deuce from RGP here. Not sure if this is the right place for this, if not, please let me know, but here goes:

After a few months of begging and pleading and a show of interest on RGP, GamesGrid has decided to spread Kansas City Lowball in tournament format. They've given us the first crack at a tournament, so I've set one up for tomorrow night.

What: $10 + $1 No Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball, AKA Kansas City Lowball
Where: GamesGrid
When: 8/4/05 - 10:00 PM and that's eastern standard time.

We will have a $200 addon to the prize pool!

In honor of the team from the town in name of the game, the password is Okoye

I'm hosting the tourney.

Even if you don't, please come on out and give KCL a shot in it's debut online!

If you have any questions about GG or KCL, let me know.

My GamesGrid UID is XXXXXXX, remember me during the signup process!

if you edit this line out, which you have time to do, then i think your post is fine.

if you leave it there, the entire post would be subject to removal.

i guess we will find out if the tourney is more important to you or the referrals.

from what i have read (was it a sklansky post?) one of the reasons KC lowball isnt spread online (and in most casinos) isnt for a lack of intrest, but rather it is extremely easy to collude, have they even considered this?

I swear on the 2004 WSOP KC Lowball ESPN vid, I saw Greenstein and Lederer winking and nodding at each other so that must be it. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Anyway...I'll bet they're not sweating collusion in a 1-off private tourney.

Considering the size of the KCL community (non-existant) I think that a pair of colluders would be obvious immediately.

yeah, couldn't anti-collusion software just detect that stuff asap?
