Party Poker $1-$2

I am in middle position with A /forums/images/icons/diamond.gif 9 /forums/images/icons/diamond.gif

Five fold to me and I raise.
Player to act after me re-raises (one of those online auto-raise thingies), folded back to me and I call.

Flop
4 /forums/images/icons/heart.gif 6 /forums/images/icons/diamond.gif 9 /forums/images/icons/heart.gif
I bet, he raises, I re-raise, he calls.

Turn
7 /forums/images/icons/heart.gif
I bet, he calls

River
4 /forums/images/icons/spade.gif
I bet, he folds.

Comments on all streets appreciated. Wasn't sure if three betting the opponent on the flop was a good thing. The auto-three-bet threw me a little bit, cause I can't think of many hands that people automatically hit the "raise any" button with.

Thanks,

The auto-raise thingy is almost always means a big hand.

I would have check-raised on the flop, as you can be sure he is going to raise your bet anyway. So I would check-raise and see how he responds to that, rather than re-raise and see his response to that. I get the same info for one less bet, if that makes any sense.
