Returning home on Saturday from turkey day excursion to San Diego. I'm in LA on I-5, pouring rain and glacial traffic speed. Low and behold I look over and see a sign for the Commerce Casino. Woohoo!! I pull in and sign up for the first available 15-30 seat.

On my first round I get two black kings one from UTG.

UTG open raises and I 3 bet. By the time the action gets back to me its capped 7 ways.

Everything I heard about LA is true.

Lovely isn't it?

Gotta love the action- too bad wicked swings go hand in hand with these games, oh and those LA "bargain" drops too.

gee boris, you get lost walking along the riverbank, how did you get thru all that city and find your way home.

Ray,

he's a big city man now that he's in the bay area. also, there aren't many riffles and pools along I5 to distract him.

I hate traffic. I like very loose very aggressive poker games. Even though I was in LA a number of times during the 90's I didn't play any poker. I just made short visits. I find it easier to fly my mom here than spend any time in cities. I even avoid the traffic in Missoula if I can. It's not easy being a grumpy old man.

Those who say they understand the games are loose in LA and Cali, but havent played there........don't understand. 100% guarantee.

Has to be seen to be believed.
