Heads up in a Party 200NL sng. I have 3600, opponent 6400. Blinds 200-400. I am in the BB with AA. Opponent quite circumspect - has usually been throwing hands away to big raises. Opponent limps and I check.

Pot 800. Flop 58J rainbow. I check and he does too.
Turn 58JT. I bet 1200 and he raises 2400. I go all-in. He has 9Q and I am drawing dead.

Obviously I wanted to trap him and it failed horribly. However, if he had made a good pair and a draw I would probably have managed to get all the money in with a big edge.

I am new to SNGs (just got bored playing so much cash limit). I don't really have a feel for the play. Did I screw this up?

If you're new to SNGs, it's probably not the best idea to jump straight into the most difficult level. Just a thought
