i like this song, but not quite sure why.

i have no idea what the [censored] she is singing about.

it's an incredibly easy song to play - very basic chords/riffs -

I believe it's about the Troubles - (Irish IRA conflict) - it's the same old thing since 1916 is a reference to one of the major uprisings that brought about the Irish Republic, but of course, split the country.

I used to listen to it in headphones and just melt when the distortion came on - loved that dynamic and how it just assailed your senses with the wall of sound -

one of the best, although that award would go to Jane's Addiction "Ocean Size"
