Hi All,

I am planning a trip to Vegas at the end of May. I have booked my flights, but am looking for a good place on the strip to stay. I have traditionally stayed at the Mirage the last 5 years but want to stay at a new place. I will be bringing my 6 year old, so a good pool is mandatory.

I checked out the Stratosphere and they seemed to have very good room rates, but was wondering about poker. Any suggestions appreciated. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Going from the Mirage to the Statosphere is pretty much penthouse to outhouse. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Take your kid somewhere nice. Maybe think about NYNY with all their arcade stuff. (I think a 6y/o would be old enough in there, even if they cater to adult kids, but check ahead) He'll need a bankroll for that tho. Dunno about the pool there. Monte Carlo pool is nice.

I hear that Mandalay Bay is suppose to have a nice series of pools that flowing into one another. Also, taking the kid to see the shark reef might be a good hour or two spent looking at sharks that aren't playing cards.

There are several threads about Vegas hotels in the "bricks and mortar" forum.
