Is open-limping here terrible? I felt that if I open-raised I'd likely get re-raised by one of serveral aggressive opponents behind me.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB ($55.70)
UTG ($88.68)
UTG+1 ($112.82)
Hero ($48.30)
MP1 ($50)
MP2 ($43.25)
MP3 ($9.50)
CO ($61.90)
Button ($40.05)
SB ($99.72)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.25) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1.25</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $5</font>, Hero ... ?

I'm getting about 2:1. I really feel I'm up against a K. I fold here, yes?

How do you feel about PF?

Depends on if you're planning on calling a preflop raise with it.

I was planning to call a raise if it came from one if the opponents I expected it to come from. I figured this would be a good way to control the pot, being OOP. Is that nuts?

Here's the thing with AQ. If you raise from UTG and get reraised preflop, you have a lot clearer idea about where you are and can fold. If you limp and then call a raise, you're in a very murky situation, since many players will raise an EP limper with hands like AT and KQ, but also hands like AK. I don't think limping is bad, but I think limping and then calling a raise OOP is bad.

In all honesty though, I don't think you lose anything at all by simply folding AQ from early position like this.
