I don't use any kind of soap or shampoo in my hair ever, just water. no one is ever able to tell this from touch or feel or anything like that.

you need some choices between "nasty" and "normal." i don't think it's nasty, but i also don't think it's normal to NEVER wash your hair with shampoo or soap.

If you don't ever use shampoo, you must not ever put anything in your hair. If you have short hair and don't do this you probably don't go out or have a girlfriend, so maybe it's ok.

I work out 6 days a week, and am married and my wife, who was horrified at this initially, now thinks it's not a big deal. I don't have overly short or long hair, standard white guy hair.

this is true, I never put pomade or any other grease in my hair. if I did, I would definitely wash it.

About a year ago I stopped using shampoo daily. I use shampoo twice a week, my hair is better for it.

except for the hippie part this is accurate. I actually noticed this the last tour I was on, where I didn't get a chance to shower very much. I basically went the whole time without washing my hair and noticed that it wasn't noticeable and didn't seem to matter whether or not I used shampoo. ever since I got back I haven't really used shampoo.

anyways a friend of mine said this was gross and nasty a few months ago, and the other day he calls me and is all "dude I haven't washed my hair in weeks, it's great!".
