SNGSAM I've played with you before! Its Me "slow777" see you around.

I'd raise more preflop, but I truly don't know. I'd have to go with my gut and fold. Too many cards for just a "calling" hand. Looks like he hit something juicey.

i usually raise more pre-flop.

folding the flop would be horrid.

I tend not to pay attention to chat- and its a pretty standard call in my opinion.

So was woogie right?

I think I play this hand the same as you did, and call the push. I don't give talkers credit one way or the other, unless it indicates that they are majorly tilting, which does not seem to be the case here. Why would he say, "remember I can bust you," as if someone named "sngsam" hadn't considered that? Lol.

Really? Really??? If it was my wife / best friend / priest that gave me this advice at the table then I would fold... Wait, no... I still push.

The ONLY hand you are worried about here is him flopping a set of queens (although based on his play I'd say there is almost no chance he had queens unless he played them very poorly) and even though that may have happened in this case and he was just being nice, you've got to push.

Like others were saying, I'd raise more preflop, but I've experienced times where Villain was truthful. The other day I was playing an 11 on party and was heads up with a significant chip lead. Villain completes the small blind and I check with 52o and flop a 2. Villain goes all-in and says "Call, I have nothing, 83o" as I was thinking. I call and win the tourney. Nonetheless, I would call with the aces.

In my experience some villains have told me what cards they had. In all cases they were honest, but never had anyone tell me to fold. I think you should have bet more pf, and I don't like your CR on the flop (possible str8 draw). Good aggressive play is better in my book. Slowplay usually backfires. You had aces, so you had to call his all-in w/ Q high board, IMO.

Pardon? Psychology aside, are you aware of how disgustingly bad a fold in this situation would be? If you want to make an argument for an opponent being truthful most of the time, then fine, but to say fold in this situation requires you to be right such a ridiculous amount of the time. Wow, do not fold this.

Thanks for your responses here are my thoughts.

1. yes my preflop raise was terrible (can't believe I did that)

2. second I don't think it would have mattered as he is likely calling with "girl on girl action (QQ)"

3. I did call and he did have a set of Queens..lol a girl on girl menage a trois!!

SAM

thanks for all the responses.
