Just jumped to $55 from $33's (nights only or when ton of players on line). Do you notice much more dramatic swings in bankroll then at 33's? I know it will be more money obviously but any bigger % of bankroll changes at this level. I comfortably kept 1500 for bankroll at $33's and logged over 2000 without having to replenish bankroll.

If replenishing the bankroll is an option, $3K is more than enough. If it's not, it's probably enough anyway as long as you can maintain anywhere near 5-10% ROI. You know this. I'm not even sure why I'm responding...

$3K Good Luck. People on this forum has had more than a 20+ buy-in downswing(I've read one post of a 50 buy-in). Just hope you hop on when your winning.

Would 20 x 50 downswing be only 1000$ , well under the 3000 he has available?

Thanks was just curious think it is enough but thought maybe would notice more negative and positive swings since players are better (or so I think/heard).

I think 50 buyins is generally considered fine for the 55s, even by fairly conservative players. Keep in mind that you don't need more bankroll the more tables you play as long as you have the same ROI as playing fewer tables.
