Earlyish in a Stars $1+0 Pot-limit. My stack is about average. 300 out of about 400 left.

I'm a 1-table player, primarily, and am trying to learn to play a few more hands. This table was loose-passive preflop, with players limping in with a lot of hands, sometimes the whole table. Was the limp with 98s okay? I would've folded to any substantial raise, of course. Is my flop raise a good size? And finally, should I call or fold?

I like your play so far. Really unusual line for UTG to take. For some reason Im inclined to think he has AA. AK raises preflop, a set slow played so far so he would probably check again and let you bet. KQ raises the flop or checks the turn. I guess TJ is possible but I think it is checking also. Maybe Kx, I dont think K9 or K8 because those push the flop. QQ is most likely raising preflop, not many people slow play that one. I really think you are ahead at this point. I like him for the following, AA, KT, KJ, spades.

Thanks for the reply. This is about how I felt about it at the time. I decided to call.

Limp w/98s loose passive is good.

Looks to me like he has TJ... his check/call on the flop and his push seems consistent with a draw that hit.
