Nothing wrong w/ pushing. The dead chips account for being behind if he chooses to call.

If he checks pushing is also an option hit/ miss

I push fairly often here (maybe 30-40% of the time), especially if I haven't done the same thing to SB before. The 2 BB I make most of the time more than makes up for the rare occasions when it was some bright bulb slowplaying a big pair.

I more or less use the same guidelines for doing this as I do in figuring out when to push from the SB (&lt;10 BB, etc.), unless SB has almost always been folding rather than completing (in which case you have to give him at least a bit of credit for a hand).

I agree with this. If the SB has completed before and I haven't done this yet, I push 100% of the time given my chip position here.
