New to MTT's playing first

Hey guys, I play on Stars, and recently decided to play me some MTT's, as I am have been building a bankroll playing SnGs so I figured I might as well have some fun playing MTTs and maybe cash.

First one i am in is a 3+rebuys and 1 addon satellite to Stars 500k guaranteed (playin right now). I busted once on KJs all in loss (short stacked) to KQs who found a few Qs.

The one thing I have to say is I am really surprised at the number of all ins. Like almost every other hand is basically a pre flop all in. The very first hand saw 4 players all in.

Just wondering if this is normal and the best way to survive the barrage without getting tempted to go all ini with anything less than like AA-KK-AK-QQ

One of the great things about low limit rebuy tourneys are that people will push with literally anything, and there's nothing better than idiots boosting your prizepool. If you're able to pick your spots and find a few hands early, building a big stack usually isn't that difficult.

What type of hands am I looking at here for real the first hour or two?

AA-JJ and AK?
