I would say big differences between SnGs and MTTs are:

1) (quite obvious) but, they last alot longer. So you need to be patient alot of the time and just keep playing smart throughout the entire field.

2) your not going to be ousting 70% of the field to make money u are going to be ousting 90% so u wont be making money as often (also pretty obvious)

3) You will be at a full to mostly full table most of the entire tourney. Whereas in a SnG when people drop the table gets short handed and hand values go up ect.

4) You need to be steadily accumulating chips the whole way through, so making plays comes into play when blinds go up.

5) You will usually be playing with the same people at your table for quite a while so getting to know how everyone plays and who u can easily steal from or not depending on reads.

6) solid poker and knowing mathmatical concepts for the whole tourney.

7) LUCK ... any MTT win is going to need some if not a lot of luck, your going to have to put in money with coinflips and win some, and not get sucked out when u have the best of it /images/graemlins/grin.gif

im sure i missed some points but thats what i got, hope it helps some.
