I know what I'd do in a MTT here, and it'd be a pretty easy decision, but what would the standard line be here in a sng?

Ummm... fold? I don't see how you can be considering anything else in this spot with MP1 having you covered well and already pot commited for the most part.

Easy fold. You are way behind.

Hero folds. You aren't even drawing to the nut flush.

you guys do realize he is getting very good odds for a flush draw with 2 overcards? It is not the autofold you guys are making it out to be.

As far as call, push, fold, depends on your basic approach. If your playing style is to avoid conflict early, push late, then you would fold here, even though you have good odds. If your approach is to accumulate chips throughout, then I would call.

You call off more than a third of your stack here?

IMHO, this is a push/fold spot, and I lean toward folding with one player all-in, though if you can make MP1 drop his hand, that'd be really nice.

If you have a VERY STRONG read on MP1 that he will fold, then MAYBE I would consider pushing. Never call here. But MP1 isn't going to fold here. So you fold. Of course, I'm the guy that just got busted when I pushed AK on a rag flop and dude called with 22....

What would you do in a MTT?

This is an interesting contrast between MTT and STT play. In level 2 of an MTT this is an easy limp and possible raise PF. In a Party STT I fold this PF at level 2.

Good hand to post... There's sooo much in that pot, I'm very torn between calling and folding. I don't like pushing as I don't think that's getting rid of MP1. How good is MP1 -- what range do you think he's calling twice with here? At a higher buy-in or if I read MP1 as a good player I'd fold -- too good of a chance you're drawing nearly dead or dead versus the nut flush draw and a set. If MP1 is kind of donkish and passive I'd call -- passive is important because I'd like to be able to just call SB's small push and see a cheap river if I don't get a spade. This is a very close hand for me and it depends on my reads, but I'd be inclined to call at the lower buy-ins.

Edit -- Actually, this completely depends on my read of MP1. I'd fold if MP1 was good. But, if he seems bad, I'd call because that's just a gigantic pot.

In a MTT this is an easy push IMO, and because I havent adjusted to the flat payout structure in sngs yet, I pushed. SB had 78o and MP had 55. I can understand the logic behind saying fold, but to say its an easy fold when you can get allin with a very likely 9 outs, with a possible 15 outs is an overstatement.

For the person who said its a PF fold, what hands are you limping with on the button after all those pretty limpers?
