Why didn't you raise the turn?

Raise the turn and bet the river.

Oh OK, I wasn't trying to be a smart-ass, I thought you might've had some reasoning behind it. I'd raise the turn, and bet the river.

raising the turn is a no-brainer, agreed. but since the flop was bet, isn't it dangerous multiway to bet the river? what if someone checkraises? easy fold?

No idea what else those callers would have besides Ax that you could beat besides the horribly played straight (Maybe Kx)?

I'd take a free showdown, but that might be a weak-tight play.

I think you have to check here. You are simply not going to get paid off by Ks. The only hands calling are going to be chopping hands or hands that beat you (which will likely check-raise). J10 is not signficant enough to consider (and that's not that likely to call).

The other important consideration, of course, is whether better/equal hands will call. It simply seems unlikely that a Q will fold here. Since it was checked to you in last position, a Q will be very willing to look you up here.

As everyone said, easy turn raise.

Once that A falls at the river, I'm checking the river behinf no matter what the turn action was, especially w/4 players in the hand. Too much of a chance someone has an A, and when we are check-raised, we are almost always behind.

raise the turn. with an ace on the river and 3 others in the hand, id check behind.

Raise the turn. I'd like to bet the river, but if you might get c/r by an ace, and yes, I call. I don't really mind a check on the river.
