[/ QUOTE ]no, what your saying is a fair assumption, and I can see how it may appear that way,but I have seen numerous times where someone tries to do something clever and numerous people chim in saying it was stupid, and most of the time they are correct. FWIW, I am not the one here making decisions as to which ones suck, but I am confident that the mods deleted the correct ones. I am sure all this forum needs is thousands of cleverly crafted accounts of movie characters making quotes from movies. Or better yet, dozens of "bumping" related accounts. I think people are blowing the "mods being power tripping ass holes" way out of proportion, and I think most of those people should realize that their accounts were very much lame as hell in nature.

I think what we all realize is that if no one ever responded to idiot posts or posts they didn't like, OOT would self-regulate in a free market sort of way and we'd all have a merry christmas. Unfortunately people pile on when they don't like something, which just fuels the fire, and here we are.

Making posts under a gimmick account is not real posting ... its irresponsible and unsafe. If all you are doing is using lines or scenes from a movie, that's dangerous. Your ego is writing gimmick account checks your body can't cash.
Take a fruitcake like Gordon Bombay. His Daddy is over in Nam fighting for special ops while Gordon is fondling a youth hockey team. That is a poor choice for a gimmick account.
A gimmick account is a privelige, not a right. Make smart choices, men. Be like Matt Foley and Commodus. Be a leader, not a follower. Nothing is worse than a mindless gimmick, you really gotta dig deep and find the right one.
And for God's sake, when your number is up, pack up and leave. sup bro left as a legend because he knew when to quit (and because I punked him, but I digress).
So, if you get banned, you probably deserved it. The good ones stay, and they don't overstay their welcome.
