Tom Cruise did that to himself by being a demonstrative loudmouth not only about his ridiculous and possibly (probably) fabricated relationship with Katie Holmes, but also by demonizing women who suffer from a legitimate disease. He went from being a respected and popular actor to being a joke on a t-shirt in Abercrombie in a couple of months. Even the media can't be blamed for that one.

I suppose you're right. He can say whatever his masters want him to.

However, when he came out against Brooke Sheilds and women taking antidepressants for post-partum problems, he f'd up bigtime.

I suffered depression for years, took vitamins and exercised, which did dick. Of course I smoked a ton of weed at the same time, see my 'coming out' in the weed thread. A few months on Wellbutrin cleaned my head right up, and allowed me to quit craving nicotine as well. I understand the effect of antidepressants on myself. I know they can work.

So when Cruise slammed these women, he not only alienated his main fan base, he got into areas he doesn't understand. I don't care how much he's 'read' about 'Big Pharm'. He's an idiot.

I kind of feel sorry for these celebrity Scientologists. They think they are privy to some kind of deep, high level secret stuff, meanwhile their cult masters sit in their towers in L.A. laughing at them.

The celebrity Scientologists are recruiting tools, nothing more.

I didn't read all of the responses, but I just wanted to say that telling celebrity journalists and documentary filmamakers to shut up doesn't make sense, because it is their job not to shut up.

That said, I'd also like to nobly go on record as saying that I have decided that I was wrong about f*cking Bono. This guy gets on my nerves, and I really can't stand his schtick, but he seems fairly effective at what he's doing.

I think it's important to give credit where it's due, even if it makes me feel like a donk.

Lastly, I hope Tim Robbins, Tom Cruise, Goldie Hawn's dumbass daughter, and freakin Sean Penn all fall down and hurt themselves really bad.

Ok, just bad enough to shut the f*ck up.
