Taking a Martingale type approach to sngs?

Just bored and thinking of stuff at work. Lets say that you're adept at playing all levels of sngs. Start with say 10+1 move to 20+2 etc etc until you win and then regress down and keep going from there. I feel like this is probably not that good of a strategy due to variance, but anyone ever do something like this..

I don't see what the point of this would be. If you are able to play the 215s, why would you waste your time at the 11s?

If you are good enough to beat the highest limits, playing the 11s is stupid.

6 straight OTM finishes has you down $445, which is 40 buy-ins at the $11s. You better have a pretty good bankroll if you want to try this. (Martindale systems do NOT work.)
