11s. I struggle with JT/QJ in this spot. help.

You should fold this without even thinking about it. Once you do that regularly you will stop struggling with QJ in this spot. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree...sometimes my push button gets really big.

The short stack is too pot committed to fold there. unless you're sure he would make that move with any two cards, you should fold and wait for a better hand to commit to. its just too likely that you two are sharing cards and you are getting 3:1 dominated.

I made the move knowing he'd call...I cant believe he almost laid it down. my push was to eliminate the stack to my left.

The question isn't whether this guy will call...its whether the QJ was good to isolate and go HU with raiser...I firmly believe now that I suck, and its not.

What exactly do you think he's raising with? Any Ace/King is ahead, decent chance of being dominated, I doubt he's raising with any two (he'd push) and he's going to call 90% of the time. This is a pretty easy fold.

If you have first in vigorish this is a push, but you are playing QJo in a raised pot...drop this like a hot potato.
