i just noticed there is a 'favorite' threads thingy, but am too stupid to figure out how to add threads....

ohhh found it. way on the bottom left, if anyone else is struggling. says something like 'toggle favorite threads'.

All the way down at the bottom of your screen is a link that says "favorite thread (toggle)"

This might be a good time to ask for a list of favorite threads...

I just made my first favorite. A WA/WB discussion from april that somehow made it to the front page. Shillx lists about 12 different lines he uses and walks through some of them. brilliant.

Here is a question I posed about WA/WB, i think it even has the link to Shilx's suggested lines. For a newbie at the time, this was a great discussion and very comprehensive. Some of the better posters on this site got involved:

Reusable code. Most of my favorites are threads with multiple links to other good threads. Better for me to have 5 favorite threads that link to 30, than 30 favorites to wade through. Thanks for the links.

If you go to "A few good threads" link provided in the post above and scroll all the way down you will eventually find a 300 page collection of some of the best discussions on this board neatly formatted in a word document.

I just finished reading them all last week and learned a lot. Great stuff!
