Villain has shown decent hands, but 14 out of 15? c'mon

KJo isn't a monster, but its nothing to laugh about. Any bet is going to get raised, so a push is required here, right?

You're below 10BB, it's an automatic push anyway

That simply isn't true. If he is going to play the hand it is a push but is he going to play it? There is no SB in the hand so stealing isn't as much worth it. Do you know if the big stack makes loose calls (Ax, specifically)?

Another possibility (at the other end of the spectrum) is to limp and call a push from the big stack, likely letting all your money in as a 60+% favorite and putting you in a good spot to take first or second.

Sorry that is what I meant, if he's going to raise. I can't always type everything when I'm at work!

Depends on if villain is a call monkey. However if you are getting involved in this pot by the 10xbb rule you are in a push/fold situation. The question is not if you should raise/push but between pushing and folding which decision has a higher -/+EV.

If their calling ranges are tight than pushing isn't a poor decision although it could be somewhat marginal. I'm not running it thru SNG PT but I know it is +EV but I do not know how much. If villain is going to use his big stack and call your push with a really wide range (q high for instance) than you should let this go.

given the hands you've seen him play aggressively, I would assume if you get your chips in before he can you should be ahead more often than not & he may just muck his hand. I like pushing this.

however, if he's calling everything under the sun, then muck.

So, since I put him on a WIDE calling range - based on the last 15 hands - I should let this go?

This is a close one, but I think I'd fold.

Since the BB has shown a willingness to get his money in with marginal hands, I'd put him on a pretty wide range of calling hands here. Lets say somethnig along the lines of 22+, A2+, K9o+, K7s+, QTo+, Q9s+, JTs.

You still have a decent stack, and there's only 150 chips in the pot. I don't think that's enough to justify the risk of being called and busting out here. You are just too likely to be called, and KJo is actually a dog to the range of hands listed.

Wait for a better spot.

This was my line of thought exactly. I guess from the replies its kind of 50-50 whether to push or fold.

I was kind of tilting also, since I was watching him over bet and push everything in sight and everyone was folding to him. Every time he got called, he either had a hand or a luck box.

I wouldn't even dwell on it if he hadn't turned over AA.
