It might be a mistake, but I call here, very, very often. 1/2 the size of the blinds, and I probably fold.

I usually have called in the past here. But after reading this forum, wouldn't this be one of those "Why risk all your chips on a coinflip" situation? Or do you not expect this to be a coinflip?

You should call here I think.
Yes there are two short stacks but it's still 6-handed.
Yes you still have FE if you fold but you drop down from being 2nd in chips to being 4th, losing a big chunk of your stack.
Most importantly, your opponent's range is likely to be very wide here. He's on the button with only 5xBB!

Calling seems to be the consensus, and the reasons you give make sense. Thanks.

good fold
you lose this, you are out basically of the tournament
at this point, you don't want to clash with another big stack with a hand like AQ
i would give up the little +ev here - assuming your opponent pushes AT+, KQ+, pp

The pusher has 5BB. His range is much wider than this. It's a definite call. If you fold AQo here from the BB please sit at my table.
"Most importantly, your opponent's range is likely to be very wide here. He's on the button with only 5xBB!"
Definately. He'll be pushing any ace, good kings and probally any 2 broadway. Sometimes tighter, sometimes looser.
Add that to the fact it's only 1150 to call with 1900 already in the pot.

I'm calling for all the reasons already given, add in the fact that the villain pushing here is a 2+2er and it makes an easy call that much easier. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

This could be a coinflip, but I think that you are at least as likely (probably more likely) to find yourself a 3:1 favorite. I think this is a pretty easy call.
