View Full Version : Pacific Laydown, good move?

Towards the end of the first level on a $7+0.70 tournament, with no real read on anyone, I see a free flop from the big blind with Th4h, flop comes down 234, small blind checks, I bet 80, (pot=100) and get two callers. Turn comes Tc, making the flop completely rainbow, I bet 200 and once again get two callers, river comes an ace, I check, a player to my left bets 100 and the other raises to 300, I folded and the player to my left folded so the cards were mucked. Was I correct to lay down the two pair, and was there any way I could have played this hand better. Thank You.
P.S. Sorry I am not familiar with the standard way of describing hands, and for my run on sentence. This is my first post on 2+2, and I'm not really a computer whiz.

I think your two pair might've been good had it not been that dreaded Ace on the river. Facing a possible set with two callers, though.
