1) Finish my 1000 11s and increase my bankroll to over $3k.

2) Read SSHE and HOH and a few others.

3) Buy pokertracker

4) Get ready for the 22s

Yeah, just play a couple hundred $11s and $22s mixed in together and hopefully just get better and one day be able to 4-6 table them.

2.) Clear 400$ in UB bonus $ 4-tabling 25-50max NL
3.) reread HPFAP and LLHE and play 1000 hands 6-max at a low limit.

08-01-2005, 01:14 PM
Just changed my pp screen name to start fresh with my stats at the 11's. I'll be trying to turn my $98(downswing I hope) into $660 by the end of the month to make the jump to the 22's. I'll also be hitting the books: HOH, HOH2, SSHE. I'll be headed to vegas in about three weeks so I got's to get my learn on.

Continute 4-tabling the 22's and get out of the slump that instantly began when I started them.. It really hurts you mentally when you move up and IT instantly happens to you. However, I have become quite clairvoyant recently as I can call the cards that will suck me out on the turn and river.

My goal for August is to play 600 by 4-tabling. If I get a bankroll of 40 $33's then I will move up when that happens; otherwise I shall continue grinding the 22's. Hopefully the move to the 33's will happen as as soon as possible so I can use part of the bankroll to set up a two monitors.

Good luck with everyone's goals.

1)Get an account on a skin w/ rakeback so I stop throwing money away
2)Start posting more and being more involved in this forum

4)Get netteller

Long term goal (August and beyond)

Play a lot of SNGs.
Make a lot of money.
Find good rakeback deal on Party and start mixing in STEPS with 200s.
Play at least 4 decent size MTTs a week ($150+ buyin).

I plan on improving my game next month, but this month I have too much free time, gotta grind some out.

Get my bankroll up to 100x buyins for the $50s and move back there, hopefully make a big dent on the buyins needed to go up to $100 as well. Probably via the $30s on the way, which will be very soon.

Well, 40 hours per week is tough. But, my wife is staying at home now so I am trying. Ive been able to the last 2 weeks. Our deal is she get's to quit work and stay home, but takes care of most of the shopping, cooking, cleaning, running the older kids around and watching the younger ones. I work more and make enough to replace her income/benifits.

Thats the deal, so my goal is 40 to 45 hours a week of play. I can lower that if I continue to have success at the bigger games, but for now i'm trying to get in that routine.

The second goal came about last night, when I basically gave away $11000 in a mtt. It got to heads up, I got excited and made a typical stt hu play, not stoping to realize we had a ton of chips relative to the blinds. As I get to more and more larger final tables, hopefully i will calm down, but for now I get a little over excited and don't play my best. Hopefully slowing down can help that.

I play on a weird european site that gave me free money since I can't desposit anything...so I can't really keep stats unless I want to write down all my results- so I'd say make 600 euros playing 4-5 tables at the 10's...

I'm also working 30 hrs/week and enjoying the summer weather so I don't know if I'll have enough time (and luck) but we'll see.

I will make a bagillion dollars.

I will pick some deal that I find on a Dell 2001fp and just buy a 2nd one already.

I will buy a new graphics card to go with it.

I will break down and buy some other crap too:
- New TV
- Universal Remote
- Possibly some new speakers
- Possibly a laptop

I will plan a vacation.

I will attempt to get a job (hippy).

I will eat, drink, and be merry.

I'm sure there's others too, but that's all that's springing to my mind.

a)play 100 10/1s @ >20% roi
b)use sng power tools to learn all about how stack sizes, calling ranges, blinds, etc all affect my equity in bubble action and hone my instincts to be pretty accurate in determining +/- ev situations on my own
c)play 1 decent mtt tourney a week with sng winnings to both learn and to give me a shot at that 'instant br' that many people have had to jumpstart their careers

Play at least 500 SNGs, mixed between the 20s and 30s.

Don't feel compelled to move up just because I have a big enough BR; don't be afraid to move up when I think I'm ready.

Suck a bit less.

Come out of the two-week 0% ROI run I'm on, hopefully up rather than down, but I'm starting to think a downswing might be nice for variety.

Read the copy of TPFAP that just arrived on my doorstep; re-read HOH, having just finished HOH2.

My goal is just to play 24 per day minimum. I see no point in having a money made goal as that's basically in the hands of luck over such a small sample size.
