Slow month for me, too damn nice outside to play. I am playing my best golf ever though. /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif

$11s (wanted to build my bankroll starting at $200 so this is the reason I was still playing 11s with 1500 posts)

116s SnGs, 40.52% ITM, 24% ROI, $304 profit

$22s

282 SnGs, 42.2% ITM, 19% ROI, $1200 profit

Total: $1500 profit. What a slacker. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Started with $60 on July 1st, decided to play $5+1s (yes, I know) to build a roll.
$5+1s: 330 SNGs, 43.3% ITM, 21.5% ROI, +$425
$10+1s: 297 SNGs, 44.8% ITM, 21.8% ROI (terrible downswing to end the month), +$713

Made about $1305 in July with rakeback.

I don't have them to hand right now, but something like 38% ITM and 23% ROI overall, didn't come back to poker til the middle of July though, but profit is around $1500 as well, at $11s and $22s. Will post the full ones later

ok, I just had the lucksac month of all time (for me) so I will share. In your wildest dreams you should not consider this a normal month. I've only played the last two weeks of the month...was traveling/getting shittered for my buddy's 21st bday in Boston earlier in the month.

Since July 1st...

$20+2: 92 games, Net AMT won $1,156, ROI 57.11%, ITM 47.83%, 21/8/15 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

$50+5: 33 games, Net AMT won $535, ROI 29.48%, ITM 39.93%, 6/3/4

$30+3: 32 games, Net AMT won -$216, ROI -20.45%, ITM 25%, 3/3/2 (WTFPWNED!!!!ONE1!)

Total: 157 games, Net profit $1,475, ROI= 30.13%, ITM 41.4%

Edit: if we are also counting MTT, I put my last $22 at Empire (I closed my account) into a 2-table 20+2 MTT and won that for a cool $180.

08-01-2005, 11:42 AM
Hi,

Around 400 $30+$3 tournies played in july (not enough)(figure includes a few cash games with mates too)

Total Profit: $3,758.39
Tournies Paid For 113.89
ROI 28.11%

Had torrid run, past 10 days... the fish are getting to me when i'm favourite more then 80% of the time i go out...

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but it was a pretty meh month.

About 380 55's (mainly 8 tabling) I ended up with about 16% ROI after hitting a big blah streak at the end.

About 60 109's mainly 4 tabling I ended up at about 15%. The variance from hand to hand seemed a lot higher, though the variance in terms of real money didn't. (That is, it seemed like I sucked out, was sucked out on, on one side of a bad situation (ala KK v. AA) a lot more in the 109's. Maybe I just noticed them more since 4 tabling seems so slow after 8 tabling, and the sample size is a lot smaller)

Overall, the second part of the month had way more forth place finishes than I would like to see, bleh.

22's: N=259, 4.8% ROI, 35.5% ITM, +$271

55's: N=4, 127.3% ROI, 75% ITM, +$280

I hate the 22's, or more correctly, the 22's hate me. I had two separate 18 buy-in drops at the 22's (and one at the 33's) before getting the bankroll to full-time the 33's.

My total, with some MTT nonsense and rakeback, was about $2100. I can't complain too much about that.

Sets... I think it is very +EV to concentrate on the remaining 4 or 5 tables once level 5 hits.

Oh yeah... I am going to try 1000 (although I turn 21 Aug 8th so that will definitely be a distraction) 55s for August. If I can beat them for 10% I will make the same amount and more in rakeback. I am confident I can do 15-18% though.

Don't see a point to playing the $33s. I am bankrolled for the $55s and I think I can do more damage with the deeper stacks. The play seems to be about equal in both.

If I start with a downswing at the $55s I will play the $33s.

Just starting the 20+2s. Bleh. Started scared, then played well, then caught a serious case of FPS (fancy play s), back to the 10s, fixed FPS, restarted 20+2s, played well, big breakeven streak = OK month.

Accomplishments: Confidence in playing 20+2s, good idea of my mistakes/leaks, got comfortable playing 4 tables at once.

Goals: Up my ROI at the 20+2s to over 15% playing 4 tables, NOT CATCH FPS, think more about my pushes, spend some time with SNGPTs.

Thanks to everyone on this board for helping me profit!!!

I'm at work so these numbers are simply a fairly accurate estimate from the last time I looked at my spreadsheet (this morning).

565 $55s
ROI - 16.5%
ITM - ~38%
Profit - ~$5100

Through 500 I was beating them for 21% and about $6k in profit but I went on a SICK cooler. Goes to show how small sample sizes and 65 SNGs can change stats.

11s - 83 with 38.6ITM and 11.7%ROI +$107

22s - 150 with 41.3%ITM and 29.1%ROI +$960

33s - 62 with 37.1%ITM and 5.6% ROI +$114

Place distribution 11.9%/16.3%/11.5%

HU may need some work but this is a very small sample. The reason this is a very small sample is because I am a lazy bastard. I am going to play at least 3X this much in Aug and get rakeback for some extra cash.

I concentrate on reads and 2-table 215s on PP, first full month on 215s exclusively:

Games - 96
ITM% - 42
ROI% - 30

Profit- $6,160

7 wins 8 losses in my first ever matches on Stars (50s and 100s)- something to work on as I have very little deep stack experience heads up...

Up $300ish on $5/10 OHL 6 max (400 hands)

Then I gave back to the community $1,125 in 27 MTTs. Overall up $5,200. Second best month in terms of $ made since I started playing November 2003.

So who's going to to be the first brave sole to post a negative month? I vow to post either way next month... /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Going by memmory, but I know this is close:

81 games at the $11s
ITM 38.6%
ROI 3.8%
Profit $33.86
Rakebake $24.3

This is only a partial month, as I spent the beginning of the month building my BR playing .5/1 6 max and 1/2 6 max.
Now All of my playing time is spent on SnGs, so hopefully things will start looking better.

My goal was to be in the $22s with a healthy BR by the end of July. Looks like this will be my August goal.
I'm just glad I'm not broke.

I was sort of a lazy bumb this month, and was away for the first 10 days, so I didn't get in the number of sit and gos I wanted. I believe my stats in the $215 are simply impossible to continue over the longrun. Im hoping for something from 13-16% ROI. I am up a bit from the $430 steps overall, if you include last month, but I just felt the play is much stronger and haven't played many for a while. Also note that only results for sit and gos are included here. I am ignoring all ring game/multitable tournament results.

Anyway my results are as follows:

Is that good enough?

I don't want to post my stats because I will feel lame when I don't post them when running bad.

Most interesting was how few I played. Even though I had vacation I was extremely lazy.

I decided that for July I would really get after. Moved, got a new computer, have some court fines to pay, school loan payments start, etc. so I needed it.

1507 22's played
ITM 37.4%
ROI 13.5%
Profit 4466
Rakeback ~350

ROI was 17 until the last three days when I had a downswing.

Also, I made a little over 3000 profit on MTT's.

July started off so bad, I had to take a couple weeks off to get my head together:

Mostly 10's some 20's:

ROI -16% <--------Son of a.....
ITM 32%
Tournies 145 <---I'm playing more than 14 days this month!
Total entries $2090
Prizes $1750
Profit -$340
$/hr -$4.47

Luckily, my two week hiatus helped a bunch. So far the last few days of the month have started bringing me back. Bring it on, August!!

Why is your rakeback so low? Was that a typo? Even at 20% you should be getting $600+.

Do you guys with RB play at party? The SnG structure is very different there to Stars where I play.

Last month I played 5, 1st twice and OOTM in ohter 3. Only started on Saturday though /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I did not play very much this month, fulltime job + cutting back because sister is home who is very much gambling is bad...

Highlights
1) Won Empire 2500 Guranteed (1000 for first)
2) Tried a few ministeps, starting with $50 which was Incredibly soft. The play at the 165 IMO is not much better than the 55 stts. I got into a 430, which I busted 9th to a donk who cold called a2o and rivered a gutshot.

You might be. I don't know. But I am pretty certain there are posters here who had a much worse July than you did.

First few days of month I only played on Party with no rakeback. Then I signed up with Multi-Poker and Eurobet and rarely play Party anymore.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster here.

I finally took a semi-serious plunge into STT last month, playing exclusively at Stars because I had half a dozen bonuses to work off, and I figured getting my fees paid for (plus some) was a really good deal. I started somewhat slowly, but thanks largely to my improved endgame play, finished quite well...

101 5.5s: 24.75 ROI, 43.56 ITM
305 6.5 turbos: 19.03 ROI, 42.3 ITM
85 16 turbos: 19.12 ROI, 42.35 ITM
Total Profit: $686.80 + $325 in bonus

I have found the turbos to be great fun, combining the semi-scientific nature of Party w/ the larger stacks (and thus ability to be a little more flexible early) of Stars.

Consider this a thank you card for all the advice. I hope to return some of the favors.

One quick question. I play a ton on line. How are you guys getting some rake back? And, what sites are you playing? I mainly play Pokerstars, Party, or UltimateBet.

Thanks,
Jeff

I knew I sucked, but to see it in black and white... Yikes! /images/graemlins/frown.gif This was my busiest month so far for SnGs. I threw in a few 2-3 table SnGs, but nearly all were 10-man SnGs. From these stats and reading the posts regularly, I see I am a huge puss and need to up the aggression and steal more.

Didn't play a lot of poker last month. Need to spend more time playing, but the golf season in Wisconsin is too short to not get out during the summer. Don't have $ / hr stats, but:

25 NL: ~ +$432

360 PP 11's: 1st: 52 (14.4%) 2nd: 58 (16.1%) 3rd: 66(18.3%)

ITM 48.8 %
ROI 42.9 %
Profit (11s): +$1700

Total profit: +$2132

Time to move to the 22s. I'm posting these not as brag stats (since it is just the 11s for crying out loud), but to show the struggling low limit guys what is possible with straightforward play.
