wat is my play here?

results in white
tlc2004 shows [ 8c, 9s ] a flush, queen high.
flyty86 doesn't show [ Qh, Jh ] two pairs, queens and jacks.
tlc2004 wins $56 from the main pot with a flush, queen high.

this is an ugly board but tlc2004 is a big time aggressive fish. he is the type of player who raises and reraises with anything and everything, even a backdoor flush. how should i have played this hand?

I start by check/raising the flop, bet the turn, check/call the river.

He's heads-up out of position on the river with the 4th flush card hitting. Time for Clarkmeister's Theorem.

I thought about this, but OP's read seems like this guy is not capable of folding, and may raise without the flush.
