ok, ignore the donkish overbet but i find myself in these situations all the time and im wondering if it is leaky. multitabling often causes me to avoid small edges because of constraints on time/concentration. i often feel like id rather not face conflict in early levels.

anyway, i nearly always check/fold this to any aggression (absent a glaring read, of course). is this a leak? should i be firing a 1/2 pot bet at these top pair good kicker type hands??

with top pair, check gives you no information from villain ... bet out half the pot and fold to resistance .. definetly do NOT get all your money in on this hand

I can't fold TP2K to a single bet from someone.

Bet/shutting down would be better than check/folding I think, though I like some kind of check/call, lead turn, and fold to a raise type thing.

=\

Check/calling 20% of your stack is bad, IMO. Either lead or muck to this bet. If met with resistance, mucking is GOOD.

I'd have led out on this flop for 2/3rds the pot, folding to a raise, and being cautious to a flat call on the turn.

uhh...these are the 11s people, villian will play his JT and lower very fast. I lead out for about 3/4 to the full pot, there is a flush draw here and we dont want to make it cheap for villian. If he raises, ill call(he could easily raise with a flush draw as well) and lead out on the turn, if he calls that as well, I may check the river. If he pushes, then I might think Im beat and fold. But other than that, I think your ahead more often than not at the 11s.

Yes, it could very well be JT, but I don't want to risk too much of my stack to find out, for the very reason it's an $11 and late-game play is far more important for amalgamating chips than getting involved too much early, because they generally absolutely suck on the bubble.
