Had he been agressive at all? loose?

I say push, but I'm assuming that you still have a decent amount of FE, which may not be true depending on the player.

If nothing is said, assume no read.

EDIT: I thought raise came from utg. I push here easily.

Yeah. That's what I meant I guess. I push absent of a read. And that a read would be nice.

Screw a read, Im allin. I don't think I could have a read that would lead me to fold 99 facing a button raise in a 4 handed game with evenish stacks, but okay I guess anything is possible.

It means that if I don't give a read--there is no read. And sometimes, the player isn't overly conservative or aggressive. Just forget the [censored] read.

Definately.

Besides, I think this bet in and of itself is a pretty nice read. This screams of a weak attempt to steal blinds most of the time, and very occasionally a monster. I think this is a clear push.

I'm down 15 buy-ins in 20 tournaments tonight.

Jesus [censored] christ.

Nevermind.

Make it 16 in 21.

Push is an option with the weak attempt at stealing the blinds... but hey, if your confident you can take one of these guys out easier, why risk finishing out of the ITM if you know that a fold will present you with an easier way to get ITM?

Trying to get ITM at all costs isn't a great strategy for a winning player, you'll get too many 3rds compared with 1sts. This is a clear all in for me with 99.

I'm all in here 100% of the time; 99 is a monster 4 handed. If you run into a bigger pair (and I am not sure TT can call the push back profitably) so be it. Those are a small fraction of the total number of hands a decent player can make this raise with.
