View Full Version : How passive do they have to be to fold here?

Villain is very loose passive. Aggro numbers range around 0.5 and loves to call down. However, there is one glaring hand from earlier in the session involving villain. Villain is in MP 3-handed on the river of a very coordinated board (4-straight and backdoor 3-flush). Villain raises the initial bettor with a busted straight draw. This either shows he's capable of absolutely abusrd bluffs, or he misread the board and thought he hit his straight. I'm inclined to believe the latter, but it still makes me wonder.

FWIW, he probably wouldn't have raised the flop with just a pair of aces, so trip A's could be in his arsenal here. Likewise, he's not doing this with a flush or straight draw. It's either a monster or monster bluff.
